Common Theologates

The Saint Alphonsus Theological and Mission Institute (SATMI) is a theologate formed by the cooperation of Cebu, Manila, Ipoh, Colombo, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Oceania. It covers the entire post-novitiate programme leading to final profession and ordination. It is a five year programme involving four years of study of theology and one year of mission in a country outside of the student’s own.

Yarra Theological Union is a College of the University of Divinity. It is a collaborative venture between the Carmelites, Franciscans, Missionaries of the Sacred Heart, Passionists, Redemptorists, Pallotines, Divine Word Missionaries, and the Blessed Sacrament Congregation. Graced by the generosity of the Franciscan Friars YTU is located at St. Paschal Friary in Box Hill. The student body is comprised of members of religious congregations and lay students. It offers two undergraduate awards,a number of postgraduate coursework degrees, and research awards at both Masters and Doctoral levels. Formation for religious life takes place primarily in the communities of each religious congregation.

Laos Mission

The Laos misson is manned by members from Vietnam and Thailand. They are currently supporting the needs of different communities and local church is Laos.

Bread 4 Today

is a joint project of the Redemptorists or Asia & Oceania. Bread 4 Today serves as a free, accessible meditation aid which people can use to come closer to God and effect positive change in their lives and their community.
